DEATH	1 March 2015	Matthew Paul Harlan, 50, of Staunton, died March 1, 2015 following complications of a stroke. He was born in Middletown, New York, December 22, 1964 the son of Ronda K (Hillenburg) and Erwin “Abe” Johnson. Matt graduated from Staunton High School with the class of 1983. He served his country for a short time with the Army National Guard. Matt had been employed by Technifab and Taco Bell in Brazil before having to retire due to health issues. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Ronda and Abe Johnson. Survivors include his wife Mary, whom he married October 28, 1989; two sons: Derrick Harlan of Staunton, Indiana and Patrick Harlan and wife Kayla of Brazil, Indiana; a granddaughter Chloe Harlan; siblings: Harold Harlan of Washington, DC, James Harlan and wife Mary of Brazil, John Harlan of Brazil and Michelle McLin and husband Rob of Brazil as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends. Services will be at French Funeral Home, 421 East National Ave, Brazil, Indiana 47834, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 4:30pm. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday, from 2:00pm until time of services.; Staunton, Clay, Indiana, United States
