In 1923 John, Rose & their children, Robert & Emma, took a covered wagon and traveled west. They continued on until they arrived in Jericho, Donley Co., TX, where Rose's health became very bad. Rose E McNabb died in Jericho, Donley Co., TX of TB. Her husband had her buried in the Jericho Cemetery and continued on west getting odd jobs as they went. ;
